Purpose Is Life, Inc. Receives Spring 2023 Woodson Center Foundation Grant
Washington, DC— Purpose Is Life, Inc. a Washington, D.C. based nonprofit focused on providing services to adolescents and young adults from underserved communities, announced today that it was named the recipient of the Woodson Center Foundation Community Affiliate Network Mini-Grant. This program allows grassroots organizations to develop a project, obtain modest funding, and present the results of the project without having to navigate the cumbersome paperwork and bureaucratic barriers that often prevent smaller, more nimble organizations from being funded.
“We are thrilled to be the recipients of this grant,” said Jamill C. Jones, CEO and Founder, Purpose Is Life. “The Woodson Center Foundation is providing us with tangible resources to support our programs and services to Washington DC’s marginalized communities.”
In the coming months, Purpose Is Life will launch further programs focused on supporting low-touch communities in the Washington DC area.
