Hosted by D.C. based nonprofit, Purpose Is Life, the event offers a platform for young entrepreneurs to showcase their products and services primarily developed while quarantined during the coronavirus pandemic.<\/p>\n<p>Inspired by the resilience, energy, and innovation of these young entrepreneurs, Jamill C. Jones, Founder and CEO of <a href=\"https:\/\/purposeislife.com\/\">Purpose Is Life<\/a>, created the event to allow the District of Columbia\u2019s next business leaders an opportunity to learn how to sustain and grow a business in today\u2019s environment. \u201cThese young people are tapping into their entrepreneurial spirits to build on the legacies of those who built Black Wall Street in Tulsa and the Black-owned mom and pop shops that kept our communities afloat during segregation,\u201d said Jones. \u201cCreativity and survival are part of our history.
